MasterCare is a new
generation, web based application, designed to provide clinical
services to the point of care throughout the modern large health
enterprise. It provides these services in a low bandwidth, low
maintenance, low cost and highly reliable 24x7 application architecture
with a proven track record in major teaching hospitals in Australia.
MasterCare is a tactical
solution for hospitals wishing to gain increased utility from their
plethora of existing information systems, offering clinicians a range
of clinical tools, and providing a strategic platform for the migration
to full clinical solutions and an Electronic Medical Record System
(EMRS).
MasterCare’s
positioning reflects the mid-ground between the many disparate
(and often legacy) systems found in most healthcare organizations
currently and the high-cost, high-risk, high-end clinical solutions
that are beginning to emerge. MasterCare does not currently seek to
re-invent the wheel in providing functions that are already available
elsewhere within existing systems, but leverages the data within these
systems to provide innovative clinical function delivering real
clinical benefits.
