Exception reporting for previously unseen diagnostic results, acknowledgement and full auditing facilities. Two levels of audit are available with an audit of anyone who has looked at a result and an acknowledgement function that allows users to electronically ‘sign’ results.

Other clinical and administration data including demographics, appointments, inpatient stays ED attendances, theatre lists, obstetrics, neurology, cardiology and medications. These components are flexible and will depend on data feeds and enterprise system availability. MasterCare can be interface to any required system to make data available.

Full, flexible discharge summary production with the ability to send discharges via mail, fax and encrypted e-mail. MasterCare’s discharge referral system is being rolled out across NSW to provide electronic discharge referrals to primary carers.

Clinician patient lists.
MasterCare allows clinicians to select a personal patient list, which may be individual patients, a ward, a unit or an admitting Doctor. These lists are then dynamic and will change as people are admitted and discharged from hospital. Users can view these lists and see what results are available since they viewed results.

General Practitioners can be given access to selected patient information for selected periods of time via secure Internet access.
