ReferralNet Claims now certified for Medicare Easyclaim

Global Health (GLH) is pleased to announce that its secure online claiming solution ReferralNet Claims is now a certified Integrated Medicare Easyclaim Solution.

The ReferralNet Claims software is now in pilot phase for Medicare Easyclaim via HICAPS (Health Industry Claims and Payments Service) and for private insurance claiming for ancillary services using HICAPS EFTPOS devices.

ReferralNet Claims also supports Medicare Online and ECLIPSE ‐ Medicare Australia’s Electronic Claim Lodgment and Information Processing Service Environment (ECLIPSE).

Medicare Easyclaim, a Medicare Australia online product, provides patients and practices an easy and convenient way to claim their rebate via the existing EFTPOS network. Patients can get their rebate almost immediately while practices can get their payments straight into their nominated bank account usually within 24 hours.

ReferralNet Claims can be interfaced with any patient administration system, practice management system or billing system. It is also available as a stand‐alone solution for healthcare providers who do not use a billing system.

By moving from paper]based claiming to ReferralNet Claims, practices can take advantage of a more streamlined claiming process saving both time and administrative costs.
